Observing Joe Marchese and his approach to building companies over the years, I became fascinated with his ability to inspire and attract incredible people around his ideas. In many ways, talented people are the differentiating factor between a good company and a great company. Joe and I discussed the unique approach in which Reserve started and grew, and how we could start an incubator-like company that could iterate on that experience and replicate that process. I wanted to create a startup studio that integrated my past experience in venture, technology and the non-profit sector and helped reshape the way businesses are created.
So today, I am pleased to announce that I will be leading Human Ventures as CEO based in New York City. Human Ventures is a startup studio that brings together the right resources and the best entrepreneurs and operators — and partners with strategic investors to catapult early-stage startups into fast-track growth companies.
We are already developing three new technology products and assembling the ideal team for each venture. Drawing upon my experience in the social innovation space, most companies moving forward that we start will have a socially responsible component.
We live in an exciting time where outdated models of success are rapidly transforming and expanding. Many of the brightest new entrepreneurs are inspired to build successful businesses that also address social issues in a meaningful way. We are starting such companies and attracting the best talent and the smartest investors. Human Ventures is thrilled to be at the forefront of this phase transition.
We are always looking for talented individuals to prototype, build and lead these innovative companies. If you want to be a part of what we are building, please feel free to contact me at Heather@humanventures.co.
