We are excited to welcome these 4 specialized investors as Members of the Investment Committee for our Fall 2020 Humans in the Wild cohort: Jarrid Tingle, Clara Brenner, Manish Patel, and Chris Brown. As Investment Committee Members, these outstanding investors will help provide strategic support and ongoing feedback to the cohort of founders in our program. At Human Ventures, we love to collaborate with other investors in the New York ecosystem. The additional support and advice from the community allows founders in our portfolio and theirs to build better companies. The entrepreneurs in this cohort are building companies in a wide range of categories in the Future of Work space, and we know these advisors will provide tremendous domain expertise for the founders in the program.
The future of how we work is now more important than ever. In this upcoming cohort, we are partnering with founders focused on the following areas:
New work environments: tools to facilitate flexibility and collaboration
Lifelong learning: personal and professional development as an ongoing “way of life”
Redefining the resume: new forms of career and talent assessment, and opportunity matching
Wellbeing at work: focus on the personal wellbeing of workers
We’ve shared our thoughts on why we believe these are the areas of opportunity best positioned in the Future of Work space over the next decade in this recent TechCrunch article: The Future of Work is Human.
